About the Farm
Guardian Angel Acres NC is the name of our farm. It's 11 acres is home to many animals including chickens, pigs, goats, sheep, horses, mini-horses, cows and of course dogs. The Senior Scenter (for small senior dogs) is operated under the Puppies Under Protection 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization registered in Florida and North Carolina.
What We Do
Our mission is to care for each and every animal that has made their way to our Sanctuary. Our Mission is to provide Love and Comfort to senior dogs that have been displaced due to death/illness of their owner, being dumped into a shelter or by an owner that can no longer handle the extra care a senior may need. NO animal should die in a shelter and more so, in many cases, a blind or deaf senior. We are determined to offer them love, emotional and medical support until they have exhausted their quality of life on this earth and are ready to "Cross The Bridge".
Who We Are
This farm is a dream of Karl and Jeanne Strack and is something we worked many years to have. Since our marriage in 1975 we have lost a lot of friends and family members. We both talk to them often and believe that they are listening! We always feel so safe and comfortable here on the farm, so soon after moving in the name "Guardian Angel Acres" seemed to fit. We purchased the Farm on July 2, 2005. Our "Senior Scenter" Dog House was opened on Nov. 7, 2014.
